Business Value Forum Presents: Understanding Our Customers’ Unmet Needs and Pain Points

Understanding Our Customers’ Unmet Needs and Pain Points

Wednesday September 28, 2022 7:30am – 9:30am

Bello Grand Hall

Bryant University

Join us as Dr. Michael Roberto returns to the Business Value Forum with a focus on our target customers and clients. Businesses and organizations in today’s competitive marketplace know that improving existing products and services, or creating innovative new ones, requires a deep understanding of your customer’s unmet needs.

More specifically, as innovators, we must understand the top — or the array of — frustrations customers experience when trying to successfully purchase and use our products/services. If we can alleviate these pain points, we can, ultimately, deliver more value to our customers and, in turn, drive more revenue.

This presentation will help businesses and organizations learn how to spot these pain points before their competitors do, so that they can be first to market with important innovations.

Be sure to bring your management team, your colleagues and your questions for what always proves to be an interactive and scintillating session with Dr. Roberto.

Dr. Michael Roberto is the Trustee Professor of Management at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.

Professor Roberto’s newest book, Unlocking Creativity was published by Wiley in 2019. He has written two previous books: Why Great Leaders Don’t Take Yes For An Answer (2nd edition published in 2013), and Know What You Don’t Know, published in 2009.

The Case Centre has ranked him among the 40 best-selling case study authors in the world among over 8,000 faculty members. In 2021, Harvard Business School Publishing ranked its best-selling case studies and simulations for the year. Roberto’s case study about Trader Joe’s ranked as the second most popular case in the entire catalog, and his Everest Leadership and Team simulation ranked #1 among all simulations.
