100 DAY TIMELINE
At the start of each search, Standish principals lay out a Timeline with milestones to guide and assess progress of the search.
GUARANTEED OUTCOME
Principals of the firm meet with clients at the start of every search to understand the organization’s operations, objectives and culture to assure a full understanding of the enterprise. Every search is led by a Standish principal
ENGAGEMENT
Standish tailors a detailed retainer agreement to meet each business’s needs, and commits to essential service and support to clients before, during and after the search process.
THE PROFILE
A thorough Profile is fashioned for each search to detail a company overview, a position outline, and specifications for the right candidate background and track record. The Profile is used to guide the firm’s research for targeted candidates, and subsequently as a selling document to help turn prospects into candidates.
THE SEARCH PROCESS
Standish researchers and principals build a network for each search to identify, contact and attract targeted candidates. The contact and relationship building includes multiple phone and in-person interviews before the Slate of finalist candidate slate is presented to clients. A detailed Update is submitted to our client each week to keep the search solidly on track. (It is common for Standish researchers to contact over 100 individuals in the search for solid prospects.)
INTERVIEW BY PRINCIPALS
The firm’s principals personally meet and interview every candidate after their initial screening, and prior to the selection of candidates for the Finalist Slate.
THE FINALIST SLATE
The Finalist Slate generally includes three to five recommended candidates; Standish’s analysis of their background, fit and prospects; and the personal resumes as submitted by each candidate.
ON-SITE INTERVIEWS
Standish principals work with each business owner or executive to schedule on-site interviews; participate in every interview; support the joint analysis of the candidates; plan follow-up discussions with each clients.
REFERENCE INTERVIEWS & BACKGROUND CHECKS
Interviews of identified references are conducted by Standish principals to further examine the finalist candidate’s background, experience, style and accomplishments, and patterns of responses. Standish also engages a third party firm (at Standish’s cost) to examine records relating to the candidate’s education, employment, driving and criminal records, financial history.
THE OFFER
